Bang on the Door

Bang on the Door is the brainchild of Sam Stringle and Karen Duncan - two former art college students who started off by making designs for t-shirts to sell on a market stall in Camden, London. They worked hard from a cold studio above a butcher's shop in North London and this is where the name Bang on the Door originates! So cold was it that they were forced to wear earmuffs and to place a sign on their door saying 'Bang on the Door' in order to hear when someone was there.
The rest is history, as they say, and now we are able to enjoy our favourite Bang on the Door characters around the world and here at CampusGifts, we plan to spread their groovy happiness even further!

McLaggan Smith

McLaggan Smith Mugs is a family-run business based in Jameston, only a couple of miles from the shores of Loch Lomond in the West of Scotland. Established by Willy Smith in 1974, the company is now run by his wife Camille and daughter Polly.

They may only be a small team, but their drive and determination has made their business extremely popular and successful. They have 20 fantastic hard working employees printing and decorating the mugs in Scotland. Every week they dispatch hundreds of mugs all over the UK. They even have customers throughout Europe and as far as the Falkland Islands and Japan. (It's great to say we are one of them!)
