23rd November 1990. During this time Roald Dahl wrote many famous childrens book, some so popular they have even been made into feature films. Quentin Blake's famous illustrations have now been made into fun McLaggan Smith mugs.

This strong, stoneware Roald Dahl mug is microwave and dishwasher safe. Inspired by one of Roald Dahl's famous stories 'The BFG' this mug even has original Quentin Blake illustrations. On the back on the mug quotes a line from the book : -

'I is the only nice and jumbly
gaint in gaint country.

McLaggan Smith Mugs is a family run business based in Jameston, a town only a couple of miles from the shores of Loch Lomond in the West of Scotland. Established by Willy Smith in 1974, the company is now run by his wife Camille and daughter Polly.

They may only be a small team, but there drive and determination has made their business extremely popular and successful. They have 20 fanstastic hard working employees printing and decorating the mugs in Scotland. Every week they dispatch hundreds of mugs all over the Uk. They even have customers throughtout Europe and as far as the Falkland Island and Japan. (It's great to say we are one of them!)
